Cain's Ballroom

I just went to my first concert at the Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa: Elvis Costello and the Impostors. The concert was great, the crowd was middle-aged hip, and I really liked what one Tulsan called, "The Cain's." (Is that what you call it if you are in the know?) Despite the fact there is minimal seating and most people (including me) had to stand for the show, I really enjoyed one particular unique feature. There is a hill in the ballroom floor, a buckle almost. I got a perch on that high spot and felt tall for once. Anybody know why that speed bump in the wooden floor is there?

Don't know why the buckle is there but, I'll find out and post it.
